Walking along on the beach last Sunday I spotted amongst the myriad of names scraped out across the expanse this sweet heart-warming message. So I bid you all a ‘Happy Sunday’ be it on the beach, in the woods, at home, at work. Wherever. May peace and joy rest in your souls. Warmest wishes to you all.
“If you will practice being fictional for a while, you will understand that fictional character are sometimes more real than people with bodies and heartbeats.’
Richard Bach
What a great quote and a fantastic find at the beach. I guess this could work for today, Happy Sunday to you.
Oh absolutely! 😀 Hope you’re having a lovely Sunday too, Karin. Since I’m back to writing my novel I feel the quote is even truer for me.
Late again, but Happy Tuesday. Perhaps we need someone to write something like that into our hearts every day. I guess only we can do it, so I’ll try.
That’s lovely, here’s to ‘Happy Day’ every day metaphorically engraved on all our hearts!
I’m a bit late finding this so Happy Monday Annika. 🙂
Ahh, that’s sweet Marje, thank you😀 it’s never too late to reply to my post!
A day late – but never mind. For some reason this simple statement reminded me that we should live for the moment and not spend our time thinking about what we have to do next.
Thanks for the reminder
Mike
Very wise words Mike and we should indeed by present in the here and now instead of worrying all the time about the next event / day etc. Warmest wishes ❤️
‘Tis a truly excellent day, made better only by the promise of another week of work, and the rest days that accompany it.
“Praise be to R’hllor!”
What a nice message to stumble upon. Happy Sunday to you too, Annika!
Thank you Jill and hope the day is treating you well. The day was perfect and then to stumble across this transient message added to the beautiful aura of the day.
Happy Sunday to you too. I love that quote from Richard Bach. Perhaps I shall be fictional one of these coming days 🙂
Yeah! Another Richard Bach fan, thought you might be. This quote can be taken on so many levels, who knows eh?
I am totally a believer in blurred worlds, anything is possible, the creations of imagination are real 🙂 Too fun.
I totally agree and think as humans we have no idea about the power of our minds. At times I would try the cloud-busting on cloudy days and it honestly worked! I love his ‘argue for your limitations and sure enough they’re yours’. Too true and it often repeat its rhetoric if I think I’m trying to wimp out😄
I do things like cloud-busting too. I can slow time if I really concentrate. Love that line: ‘argue for your limitations and sure enough they’re yours.’ Perfect.
Danke…Thank You 🙂
Es freut mich, Lis. 😄
🙂 ❤ 🙂
Thank you for this warming message. Beach looked tempting until I felt the cold wind.
Might be a long walk instead ,with coat.:)
Love The quote too.
You’re welcome! I felt it was written to be passed on to others. On our return a little while later the tide was in and the message gone. Quite poignant. I love the book ‘Illusions’ and think at one stage I could quote the whole book verbatim.
That is a nice message to come across!
It was indeed and it put a huge grin on my face for the rest of the day.
