‘A Home for Her Daughter’ is a beautiful, heartwarming and tender romance that does not shy away from tackling deeper and more serious topics such as loss, guilt and marital abuse.
Jill has a knack of drawing the reader immediately into the story as the two main protagonists meet up to listen to the reading of a will at the local lawyer’s office in Whispering Slopes.
Drew Brenner has been a recluse following the loss of his wife and young daughter; struggling to carry on in life as he feels responsible for their deaths.
Meanwhile, childhood sweetheart, Janie Capello, has newly returned to the town after she finally found the courage to leave her violent ex-husband. Will she ever be able to trust a man again? Her vulnerability and lack of confidence are palpable.
Janie inherits a house, money and a camp, a place she loved to visit as young. However, the caveat is that she works with Drew to prepare to open within a month!
As the scene is set, Jill skilfully propels the story forward whilst at the same time filling in seamlessly events from their past lives. Her writing is self-assured, confident and gentle.
The book is part of the Love Inspired Inspirational Romance who offer books with ‘uplifting stories of faith, forgiveness and hope.’ As such it is not surprising Janie and Drew both turn to God with their prayers, although both have had reason to question events in their own lives.
Whilst Janie and Drew are wonderfully portrayed and immediately come to life for the reader, it is Janie’s seven-year-old daughter, Riley who steals the show and is the core of the novel. With bundles of cuteness and charisma she charms her way into our hearts, her wisdom profound and of course with her guiding hand Drew and Janie find themselves drawn to each other.
Will it be enough though or will their past experiences intervene and become a barrier for their love? Although the end is never in doubt in this genre of books, Jill creates an original modern-day twist on romantic endings!
Finally, many thanks for Jill for the gift of her latest book, a most welcome present during these troubled times. My review here is my honest and impartial reflections about the book.

NOTE: The above book review was originally planned to be posted early September however life took a different turn! A family member was seriously hurt in an accident and in the midst of all the trauma of that and the current world situation I found myself unable and also lacking in time for WP. Thankfully all is now well with my family and I’m looking forward to joining you, my friends, here on WordPress, catching up on blogs and finding some normality in these most abnormal of times. It’s wonderful to be able to return to blogging after the three month hiatus.
Wow! What a great review, Jill. Congratulations!
Thank you so much, Mark … a wonderful book to review!
I love Books that have faith in them. I really like this. Thank you for your review.
A delight to review and as you enjoy books with faith in them I can recommend all of Jill’s books!
I also enjoyed this book, Annika. I wholeheartedly agree how Jill has a knack for drawing the reader in. I appreciate how she shares deeper, serious topics in a gentle way. A wonderful review.❤️
Annika, I am very, sorry about your family member. I think about you often, daily, when I read the U.K. news and news around the world. Genuine hugs, and possibly a real life hug one day. ❤️
Erica, how lovely that you’ve also had a chance to read Jill’s book and how true that ‘she shares deeper, serious topics in a gentle way’! I’m so glad you enjoyed the review.
Luckily things are much better now and looking forward to celebrating Christmas, albeit without the extended family. I likewise think of you, follow the news in Canada and hoping you and your family are all well and safe. The news here in the UK is beyond grim and we are hunkering down for a longterm lockdown.
Ahhh … hugs winging their way back to you and wow, it would be a dream to travel Canada one day as planned for an extended trip and be able to meet up! love & hugs xx ❤️
❤️
I read this when it came out last summer. A quick read you can’t put down. I was up way past my bedtime until I finished it. I rarely read romance but Jill writes in such a way that I don’t feel I’ve overdosed on saccharine. The story was real.
Marlene, a beautiful summing up of Jill’s books and you show why they are an instant hit with so many, including those who don’t usually read romance! I’m smiling how you stayed up late to finish the book – a sign of a compelling well-written novel and so true of Jill’s books! Happy Reading, my friend! Take care! xx
What an excellent review, Annika! I have read all of Jill’s books so far and have enjoyed every one of them and I am sure this one will be no exception!
I am so pleased to see you here on WP again and am very sorry you have had such an anxious time. xx
Clare, it’s so lovely to see you again here and thank you so much for your care and concern, it means a lot to me.
Yeah! How wonderful that you’ve also read all of Jill’s book and you will love this one I’m sure. I’m so glad you enjoyed my review – I fear I will never overcome my nervousness of writing them but it always seems to work out!
Wishing you a lovely start to the festive season, it will be a very different form of celebrations this year but at least such excellent news today for the UK; we all need to see a bit of light at long last.
Take care and keep safe, warmest wishes to you and all the family. xx
I find writing reviews extremely nerve-wracking so hardly ever do them! You have such an assured writing style and write so clearly and warmly that it surprised me to find that you are a nervous reviewer!
I hope you have as happy a Christmas as possible and we have a better new year than this one was! Yes; good news about the start of the vaccine roll-out; it gives me hope.
With love and best wishes, Annika to you and your family xx Take care xx
My worries about reviewing is that I won’t do the book justice and how to convey it best without becoming too verbose. Once I start I’m usually okay and it means a lot that you find them assured writing style. I’ll knock my worries away next time! 😀Oh, I would love to read your reviews, you write so well and I’m always captivated by your posts.
🙂
Excellent review Annika and the book sounds a very good read.
Sorry to hear about your family member and hope all is now well, and that you are bearing up in the current situation.
Thank you so much, Mike! 😀 It is a great book and yes, it is huge relief things are now so much better! It was a very worrying time for a while and it’s lovely to settle back here and with writing. Take care! xx
Hi Annika
Glad things have settled down and it sounds like September was tough.
Nice job on the book review and Inese to read Jill’s book as well- and with a five star review from you it sounds awesome
Yvette, it is great and I’m sure you will love it if you have a chance to read the book! So glad you enjoyed my review!😀
Thank you, it feels amazing that things are so much better and September was the worst but it’s taken until now for things to really settle down. Life is so both so precious and precarious!
Hi Annika
I live the words “precious and precarious” to describe life ((authors have the best phrases))
And sorry about the September – I had a month of November like that a while back.
Okay – hope you have a nice rest of your weekend 😊
What a wonderful, inspiring, and well-written review of Jill’s latest book, Annika. Thank you so much for encouraging the read (if more encouragement is needed :-)) and I’m so glad your family member has recovered and life is a tad more stable and manageable now. Have a great weekend!
Liesbet, thank you so much for your lovely comment and I’m glad you enjoyed the review! I’m smiling at the idea of encouragement… positive nudges in our lives! As an avid reader I value reviews so much but still feel I do not write nearly enough! So a delight to share when I do put pen to paper! Yes, life feels so much better once again … apart from the obvious! Wishing you a wonderful weekend too,Liesbet! Xx
An excellent review Annika. It must have been a tough 3 months for you. Glad that all is well now your end. Take care ♥️
Thank you so much, Radhika! 😀😀 It was a lovely book to read and so glad I have a chance to share my review here at last. The last three months were indeed hard but overjoyed things are looking so much better. Thank you for your concern. Take care of yourself too. xx ❤️
Glad all is well, and welcome back! A wonderful review which has me intrigued and considering whether the list of books to read is now so long that it could be seen from outer space.
😂😃 Ste J, I think you might be onto something there! I’m imagining all those books piled up reaching into space, a stepping stone to the moon … it’s been one of those mornings as you can tell!! 😃 Glad you like the review and that it has your intrigued. I really like your about page, has me in stitches “As a public service I also read the rubbish books so you don’t have too, as well as delighting in finding the obscure to amuse you.” Thank you!
I like that image, and the moon would be a great place to read in peace as well. It’s been a while since I have been on my about page, glad you liked it! I have some obscure books to review at some point soon from Archaeology to hymns, I will read it all. I wish I could avoid the rubbish books but it is an occupational hazard and it does enhance the really good books.
I was wondering what happened to you and popped in once in a while to see if I had missed your post. Sorry to hear your family member had an accident and seriously hurt. Good to hear all is well. Jill’s book is lovely and she skillfully crafted it. Thank you for the excellent review. Take care, Annika! ❤
Miriam, how lovely that you’ve also read ‘A Home for her Daughter’ … it is a special read and as you say, skilfully crafted!
Ahh … thank you so much for checking by now and then, your concern means a lot to me. It’s great to be back and I hope to be posting on a more regular basis (hope I haven’t jinxed myself by saying that!)
Take care, Miriam and wishing you a good start to December! Xx ❤️
I might have known that your return would be in the form of a kind review, Annika. 🙂 🙂 So glad that you’re able to get back to our world. We’ve missed you!
Bless! 😀❤️ It’s lovely to be back, Johanna and I’ve missed being here! Haha! Of course my return had to feature books! My life-saviour at all times! It’s lovely to be able to share my review of Jill’s wonderful book at last!
I’m so happy your family is safe, Annika. This sounds like a five-tissue read- great review!
“Five-tissue-read” I love that, Jacquie!
Haha! 😀😀 Jacquie, this should become a new standard of rating books! Five-tissue- read definitely! Thank you for your care and I’m overwhelmingly happy too! Xx
I enjoyed the book, too! What a nice break from the “real world” out there!
I’m happy you enjoyed it, Luanne. I agree, we all need a break from the real world now and then.
Exactly, Luanne! 😀 We can’t get enough of those breaks at the moment. It’s lovely to see how many have read and enjoyed this and other of Jill’s books! 😀
Hi Annika, I haven’t seen a post from you for ages so I was pleased when this popped up. A lovely review of this book. I hope you are well and are managing the lockdown.
Ahh, it’s great to be back, Robbie and I’m so happy to be able to finally share my review of Jill’s book!😀 We are all well now, thank you and for us personally, lockdown has not been much different than what we were doing on a daily basis before it. Back to tiered levels on Wednesday and so it continues …
Hope you and your family are safe and well. Have you heard about your son’s exams? I think these were major ones he took these recently?
Hi Annika, Greg has just finished some very important examinations. The marks he’s had back to date have been very good: 100% for IT, 92% for chemistry and 95% for physics. He gets his other results tomorrow and I hope he has achieved his goals. He worked extremely hard. It’s quite strange when you see your own obsessive characteristics coming out so strongly in your child. PS, my other son, Michael, is taking his drums examinations soon. Very proud of them both.
Wow! Robbie, what amazing results and you must be so proud of Greg. I imagine he’s very chuffed with his achievements and to see his hard work paying off! Haha! 😀😀Yes, it is strange when one’s own characteristics become so evident in one’s child ..
I know the feeling well! Finally, good luck to Michael with his drum exam. Not an easy instrument at all. Is he member of a band or orchestra?
Hi Annika, he is in the process of forming a band with his friends and cousins. I am looking forward to seeing what they do with it. I always fancied this idea for myself, but it never came to fruition for me. I’m secretly pleased Mike is doing this off his own bat.
Wow, Jill’s book sounds riveting. I’ve just added it to my TBR. Welcome back, and glad things are on the mend for you. ❤
It is riveting and I read the book over a day and a half sitting on my swing seat in the garden during summer! Bliss! 😀 So glad it’s on your list of books to read, Debby and I’m sure you’ll thoroughly enjoy it. Thank you, it’s lovely to return here and I feel very lucky with such a warm welcome back! Hugs xx ❤️
We’re happy to have you back. ❤
How wonderful for you to host Jill’s book. I so loved it. My heart is still warm.
Exactly! 😀 Jacqui, that’s just how I felt and still do when thinking about the book … all cosy and snug with a warm glowing feeling!
That makes me happy, Jacqui.
Hi Annika – thanks for reviewing Jill’s new book. It’s on my list too! I’m glad you enjoyed it so much. I’m sorry you have had worries over your injuried family member. That’s so stressful, especially during these times. I’m glad to hear your situation is improving. Take care and looking forward to “seeing” more of you soon!
Barbara, I look forward to reading your review of the book when you have had a chance to read it! So true that any accident or incident in these times is exceptionally frightening – to be in a hospital is far from ideal, to visit is not great either. Thankfully all has worked out well! It’s great to be back and lovely to read your posts again! I’ve taken up so many of your suggestions!
Hi Annika – I’m sure that was very stressful for you and your family. I’m glad everything has settled down. I have had such a busy fall outside of the blog and I keep thinking things will slow down. I’m hoping this is the week. Great to see you out there 🙂
Barbara, thank you so much and it’s wonderful to read your lovely comment. 😀 It is a strange year, when you think we will have more time than ever it seems to fly by so fast! I hope things slow down for you as Christmas approaches and you can really feel the peace and joy of the season (in spite of it all). xx
Hi Annika, yes, in some ways the restrictions are forcing us to take a better look at how we celebrate holidays. Our Thanksgving was quiet but also very relaxing (despite a lot of cooking!) I think the winter holidays will also be like that. 🧡
I am so sorry to hear that your family member was involved in a serious accident, Annika. I know about such things and my heart skipped a beat when I read your update. However, I’m relieved to hear things have improved and that all is well now for your family.
Cynthia, I am sorry to read that you too have had experiences of family accidents and traumas – it is never easy and particularly tough and frightening during Covid times. It did not escape me or the family the irony after months of ‘staying at home’ to find myself visiting the hospital on a daily basis surrounded by staff. It was surreal after months of only seeing close family … as if I’d dropped into a movie. Alas not but so grateful and thankful all is now well. Thank you so much for your care and concern and hope all is well now for you and your family. hugs xx
A wonderful review for A Home for Her Daughter! I have two copies–one for gifting and one for me… Jill is a wonderful storyteller and I highly recommend her romance stories.
Bette, what a terrific idea to have one available for gifting! I might take you up on this idea … and with a few other of my favourite books too! Yes, Jill is such a gifted writer and natural ability to tell a story ensuring the reader is immediately caught up in the lives of the characters!
Wishing you and yours a blessed and beautiful Christmas, Annika! 🎄💞
Thank you for your kind words, Bette.
I was sorry to hear about the accident in your family but happy to hear that everything seems fine. Reading your review of Jill’s sweet novel, made me relive those tender romantic moments. A lovely review, Annika. Glad to see you back on WP.
Carol, it’s lovely to be able to return to blogging and for life to be back on track (well, apart from the obvious for us all!)
I’m glad you liked my review and that it recalled the book for you – I’ve just found your review and it’s wonderful, catching all the tenderness and hope of the book. Beautiful!
Thank you, Annika. ❤
Thank you, Carol. I appreciate your sweet review.
What a beautiful review, Annika. Jill is a lovely writer and it’s great to see her book reviewed on your blog, in part because your reviews are excellent.
Wishing you all good things, Annika.
Thank you so much for your lovely comment and I’m very happy if my reviews help to shine a light on the books I read and love! 😀 Jill is a superb writer, I agree, and in this book particularly I kept noticing elements within the writing and plotting that truly impressed me.
Wishing you a wonderful start to Christmas month … and best of luck to you and your daughter with all your books! xx
Phew! So glad to see you here, and in a great way, reviewing Jill’s wonderful new book. I read it back in September also and highly applaud your review! Now, I’m glad all is fine now with you and your family, but I must say… I was worried. Trauma and life seem to go together from time to time, and it’s no fun. It’s scary. And it’s always such a relief when things calm down and all is calm, all is bright. Love and hugs to you, Annika!
Bless you for your wonderful comment, Pam! 😀 Yeah, it’s great you’ve read and enjoyed Jill’s book equally much!
Thank you so much for your worry and concern … and I would feel the same if you went awol! Life is difficult enough this year so any extra trauma is so much more frightening and difficult. I’m now loving the renewed calm and appreciating it more than ever. Love & hugs winging their way back to you, my dear friend! Xx ❤️
I think we bloggers have become such good friends that when someone is “quiet” for awhile, we all worry. We probably need to give shout outs every once so often. When I missed a week a few months ago, I was flabbergasted when some long-distance friends whom I haven’t seen in ages, texted or e-mailed me and asked: IS EVERYTHING ALRIGHT? YOU DIDN’T HAVE A BLOG POST LAST FRIDAY! I didn’t even know they read my blog! ;-0 Anyway, yes, love and hugs wing back and forth between we blogging buddies.
Er, between “us” blogging buddies to be grammatically correct, but I’m thinking “between wee blogging buddies.” 🙂 🙂 🙂
Thank you, Pam.
Sorry to hear the reason for your absence from WP and glad to know all is well with your family member – and you are back. Nice review, too.
It’s lovely to be back, Mary and a joy life is looking better once again (albeit in the middle of a pandemic). I was glad to finally be able to share Jill’s book here and my review of it! Hope you’re all keeping well and safe. X
Hi, Annika! It’s great to see you back and glad all is well. This book sounds like a wonderful read. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much, Jan! It’s lovely to back and I feel spoilt with the warm welcome! 😀 Jill’s book is such a heartwarming read I felt cosseted with affection yet a strong sense of tension and serious themes throughout!
It was good to see a post from you come across my email this morning, Annika–and with a lovely review of Jill’s new book! I’m sorry to hear that your family member was in an accident; I’m glad that they’re doing well now.
Ahhh … thank you so much, Liz! 😀 Your sweet words have me smiling. It was a joy to read Jill’s book and so kind of her to send it all the way from America to me! After the last three months I’m so grateful all is much better – things like this definitely brings an even newer perspective on life!
You’re welcome, Annika! I’m so glad things are going better for you.
I’m sorry to hear you’ve had such a tough year Annika, hoping that things are now getting better. A lovely review of Jill’s book.
Andrea, it’s been a tough year for us all this year and it makes things like this even harder, more worrying … such a sense of relief and peace with everyone better now.
Oh, it was a joy to read and review Jill’s book!
Hope you are doing well, Andrea!
I am thanks Annika.
Welcome back, dear Annika! So sorry to hear about your family member’s accident. This year has been hard as is, I can only imagine the added stress you and your family have been going through. Thank Goodness, all is well now.
Thank you for the beautifully written review. The book is seriously tempting, more so as I just realized when going through my 2020 reads that I have been mostly consuming heavy subjects, this year. I’ll sure check it out, I can do with a bit more romance during the holidays. 🙂
Lovely to see you around, look after yourself! ❤
Khaya, heartfelt thanks for your warm comment and it’s so lovely to catch up with you and others here! So true, I was feeling the stress before the accident at which time it went off the scale … it’s heavenly to feel calm, relaxed and happy again!
Oh yes, romance never fails to lift the spirits and thank you for your kind comments about the review. Now I am intrigued what these weighter tomes are which you’ve been reading during the year?
Wishing you a magical 1st Advent and stay safe and well! xx ❤️
It’s a testament to your character that you soldier on, making good on your intention to post a review for this fine book. I admire your output as an author, you resilience, and most of all your persistence in spite of a setback.
Thank you for this glowing review. Do have a happy holiday season, Annika. 🙂
Marian, bless you for your heartwarming comment … I’m both smiling and blushing. 😊 😀 Your words mean a lot to me. I’m so glad to finally be able to post the review, albeit later than planned but at a stage when I could do it justice and be present on WP.
Wishing you a very good start to the fesitve month and a special 1st Advent. xx
🙂
I’m sorry that you’ve had such a troubling autumn, Annika, but so relieved to hear that all is now well. I don’t know anyone who won’t be happy to leave 2020 behind.
And a wonderful review. I enjoyed this book too. Jill is wonderful at writing those feel good stories that brighten the dark days. Take care, my friend. ❤
Thank you so much for all your support, Diana and it means so much to me. I must admit I’ve barely noticed Autumn and it is with suprise I find myself nearly in December … but a joy to feel peace in one’s soul again. As for 2020 I remember being so excited at the start of the year – I always am with new decades but what a time. May 2021 bring much needed normality and end to the horrors of this year.
It’s great you enjoyed my review, I did read yours and it’s just perfect, capturing the book and characters! I agree, Jill is wonderful at writing these stories and my admiration for her as a novelist just grows. Wishing you all well, xx🤗❤️
I think we all have our hopes set on 2021, Here’s to putting in the effort to making the new year full of celebrating togetherness. ❤
Thank you for your sweet comment, Diana.
Annika, thanks for this lovely review! Jill is a wonderful writer.
I’m sorry to hear about your family member but glad they are feeling better. I’m also happy that we will be reading more of your blog in future. Take care over there! xo
Jennifer, it’s so lovely to read your comment and I’m glad you enjoyed learning a bit about Jilll’s latest book.
It is a huge relief that things are looking so much better for my family and I look forward to returning to blogging – I’ve missed it a lot! Already planned next week’s post, and I always enjoy looking for accompanying photos! I Can’t wait to catch up with your blog this week. Stay safe and well. hugs xx
Annika, that is a beautiful review of Jill’s novel!
I am sorry to hear of the accident. I am glad your family member has recovered, and life is taking a better turn for you and your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you this season and always. Hopefully 2021 will be a better year for all of us.
I’m so glad you enjoyed my reivew, Lavinia – it’s as if they write themselves! 😀
Thank you so much for your care and concern, your thoughts and prayers mean a lot to me.
Wishing you a lovely December, we all have to make an extra speical effort to find the joy this year! Oh, I so wish for a much better 2021 and hopefully this will be possible as Spring approaches.
I agree Lavinia, Annika’s review is beautiful!
Welcome back to blogging, Annika! I’ve missed you in the last few months. I’m glad to hear your family member has recovered from the accident and you are all well. I have Jill’s first book on my Kindle to read this month. Thank you for your review and recommendation of her latest book. Wishing you good health and joy throughout December!
Ahh … thank you so much, Natalia – I feel the warmth and love from the blogging community flowing over me – a wonderful welcome!
Oh, I wonder if it is ‘Second Chance Romance’ on your kindle in which case here is a reivew I wrote of it in 2017. https://annikaperry.com/2017/09/24/second-chance-romance-a-book-review/ Enjoy and it’s lovely to totally relax with her books!
Wishing you likewise a happy December and good health for you and your family. xx
Thank you, Annika, for the link and your warm wishes.
Workouts before reading, Natalie. 🙂
Fantastic review Annika. The book sounds too good and the cover of the little girl is so lovely.
Kamal, thank you so much and I totally agree, the girl is adorable … a perfect cover for the book and immediately one wants one to read it!😀
Yes so true, Annika. You are always welcome dear.
I agree, Kamal. The art department did a wonderful job with my cover.
Yes totally 😊😊😊😊😊
I love Jill’s stories. Thank you for highlighting Jill and her writing. 🙂
They are special, Melissa! 😀 It’s been a delight to share about her books here. Lovely to meet you!
I appreciate your sweet comment, Melissa. I love your books too! I so enjoyed Grumpy the Gator. Don’t forget to put him up on BookBub, so I can post my review there as well. I reported it them, so maybe they’ll put it up.
Thank you for the reminder about putting Grumpy the Gator on Bookbub. 🙂 I’m glad you enjoyed the story.
You’re welcome, Melissa. I posted my review. Everyone will love the story!
Thank you Jill. 🙂
Grumpy the Gator is now on Bookbub. Thank you Jill.
Thanks for your special review of Jill’s heartwarming book. Praying your life settles down with peace and comfort. Blessings!
And thank you so much for reading and your lovely comment, Sherida! 😀 My life has thankfully settled down a lot in the last couple of weeks, things working out well, and I’m so grateful for this blessing. Your thoughts and prayers are very much appreciated. xx
Thanks for popping over, Sherida! It’s always nice to see your sweet smile.
A lovely review for our lovely and talented Jill’s latest, inspiring book, thank you Annika. I am very sorry to hear of your family member’s accident, not what you want at the best of times never mind during a pandemic. Very glad to hear you are all recovering. We are doing the same. I so hope to get back in touch with you more regularly. These are tough times. Keep safe and well… Sherri ❤
Sherri, it’s a delight to see your name and read your lovely comment here! 😀First, I’m so glad you liked the review of Jill’s book and I wonder if you’ve read any of her earlier ones?
Oh, it’s been a traumatic time indeed and even so much considering the times. Hospital stays are bad enough at the best of times but luckily it was early September before things got so bad in the UK again. I’m sorry to read you have also had problems – wishing you a speedy recovery.
It would be great to be in more regular contact again. Wishing you and your family a peaceful 1st Advent, my friend! hugs xx❤️
Annika, likewise, it’s wonderful to chat again and thank you 🙂 And yes, I have read and reviewed Jill’s very first book, Second Chance Romance, but so far not her others. Jill is an inspiration to us all with her amazing publishing success. You too, as I see, with much to catch up on with your own books, wow! I am way behind on my TBR, having shut myself away with all things memoir on a major learning curve. I’m still blinking in the daylight! Yes, traumatic indeed, but thank goodness we are all on the mend by the sounds of it.
A peaceful 1st Advent to you too, my friend, with hugs back. Keep safe and well!<3 xxx
Thank you, Sherri. xo
My pleasure, Jill xo
Pingback: A sweet surprise from a sweet friend #Review | Jill Weatherholt
What a beautiful surprise to start my day, Annika. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely review of A Home for Her Daughter. Glad things are okay at home. A tough year it has been
Thank you! Indeed a very tough year for the whole world and a serious accident during a pandemic was not good – my family member is all healed now, thankfully! xx

Great review . 🙂
Thank you so much, Lynette! 😀
An excellent review of Jill’s book, Annika. You say ‘ Jill has a knack of drawing the reader in immediately…’, I would say that goes very much for your review as well.
You have got me wanting to press the amazon button straight away.
Annika, it is wonderful to have you back again and please, go steady now. It sounds like you gone through quite a trauma. Rest assured that you are received with love and open arms.
